A warmest welcome to you, and congratulations on your engagement! My name is Vanessa, the owner and founder of AG Affairs. My pronouns are she/her. I am a Registered Nurse, and live in Phoenix with my partner Michaela. Together we have the two sweetest rescue pups, and one very sassy cat.

I am breaking into the wedding industry after my recent engagement to my partner. Planning our wedding has been a labor of love, and it was important to us to support as many LGBT- and Minority- owned vendors as possible. In researching, I interacted with so many LGBT welcoming companies. I still found that so much of the industry is centered around binary/hetero couples, from the entire wedding procession to the wedding party suites. When it comes to validating individuals and creating an intentionally inclusive space, verbiage matters.

I saw an opportunity to support our community and step far out of my comfort zone to partner with local businesses in an attempt create a really meaningful, curated network for like-minded queer and allied partners.
